Teenager Dies of Electrocution in North Kashmir’s Kupwara

SRINAGAR: A 16-year-old boy lost his life after reportedly suffering an electric shock in the Malikpora area of Kupwara district in north Kashmir on Friday, officials said.

The victim was identified as Danish Bashir Lone, a resident of Kenyal Tarathpora.

According to officials, the teenager sustained the electric shock in circumstances that are yet to be determined. He was rushed to a nearby medical facility for treatment, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Meanwhile, Handwara MLA Sajad Lone expressed grief over the incident through a post on social media, calling it a tragic loss and conveying his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
