SRINAGAR, July 5: Thirty-six Amarnath Yatra pilgrims were injured on Saturday after four buses collided near the Chanderkote langar site in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district.

Officials said the accident occurred when one bus reportedly suffered a brake failure, leading to a chain collision involving three others.

The injured were shifted to District Hospital Ramban, and rescue teams from the police and health department responded promptly.

Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Ilyas Khan, visited the hospital to assess the situation and check on the pilgrims’ condition.
